The Trust currently offers two funds:
- Individuals and Families Fund – currently open to credit and pre-payment meter customers.
- British Gas Energy Support Fund – opens 4 November 2024.
Both are intended to tackle fuel poverty by clearing the energy debts of struggling households and respond to the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.
It should be noted that the Trust does not award cash payments, but will instead credit the householder account.
- Individual and Families Fund will cover arrears of between £50 and £1,700.
