With themes such as:
- The Calderdale Good Food Movement – working together to establish a culture where healthy, affordable, sustainable, local food is accessible to all
- The Food Conversation – a local and national discussion around key themes & issues which are influencing our food system
- The Calderdale Food Charter – tackling the climate and nature emergency by promoting sustainable local food production and consumption
- Back to Our Roots – A celebration of the diverse local food culture in our region
- A Food Strategy for Calderdale – developing an integrated approach to establishing a sustainable food strategy for the region.
The Albany Arcade will play host to a local produce market, food and drink outlets, workshops, demonstrations and information points – all in addition to the wonderful array of traders and permanent stalls within the Borough Market.
There will be a live market, cooking demonstrations, music, advice and information around healthy sustainable food, climate action and cost of living support and an opportunity for people to meet and chat to local community groups, affordable food hubs, growing & cooking projects, community kitchens, food producers and local traders.
