About the Organisation
St Mary's Church runs a warm, safe drop-in cafe on Thursdays, works with the local food bank, hosts musical events, offers pastoral visiting and support, and works in partnership with the wider community on environmental, social and interfaith activities. They also visit care homes, hold school visits, work with bereavement, elderly, disability and faith groups and Todmorden in Bloom and other churches. Sunday services happen every week in Todmorden and on Mondays in Walsden
Support the growth of Sunday school /youth church and plan and increase capacity for children to join church activities.
What you will be doing:
Develop activities suitable for children to take part in with assistance
Plan agreed programme and rota to ensure regular Sunday school/ play involvement.

Support you will be given:
Induction, training, regular check in
Reasonable adjustments as needed (but mobility is required for this role).

When do we need you?
Additional Requirements
11am-12.15 Sundays
and/ or 9.30-10.45 Mondays in Walsden
We have an accessible toilets and will make reasonable adjustments. Suitable for under 18s accompanied by adult.
The church also has a step free loop and we will make other adjustments if possible.
Registered assistance dogs are welcome
