EdShift: FREE arts workshops for children and their families

This summer EdShift have a series of FREE arts workshops for children and their families, however they are sadly struggling to fill up spaces!

On offer there are a wide variety of activities facilitated by local artists and EdShift practitioners – to provide Calderdale families with unique, creative opportunities over the summer holidays.

If you are looking for some free, family friendly activities this summer, then EdShift have an array of activities for you get crafty, whilst helping them to raise funds at the same time!

We’re calling on our community to show up for EdShift – whether you have received support previously, or are simply looking to give your children the most creative and exciting summer yet. These workshops are not to be missed.


Let The Light In

Join local artist, Rosie McAndrew, for a unique, immersive and sensory workshop where you will create a wonderful installation for our Let The Light In: Gold Exhibition in December

Cyanotype Workshop

August 13th, 10.30am – 1.30pm
7 Harrison Road, HX1 2AG

Come on down to EdShift@TheYouthBase and create cyanotype prints! Cyanotypes are camera-less sun prints! Cyanotypes will be created to help build the EdShift shop to create sustainable funds for EdShift!
