Small grants will be awarded up to £3,000 per project. Receipts for all expenditure will be required.
Grants will need to be spent by 31st March 2026.
The purpose of this it to support local groups to deliver activities to support parenting in their local community through a range of ideas and projects. This can be to help both new community groups get started, as well as helping existing groups develop and strengthen the brilliant things they are doing. All funding is approved by a local community panel made up parents and professionals from the local area.
Criteria for applications should cover at least one of the following:
- Connections – enabling positive connections to be made between parents/carers and their children in the community, creating spaces and opportunities for support.
- Skills/education – enabling skills development or learning for parents.
- Information – enabling access to information for families.
- Accessibility – improving access to support or services.
They would like the funding to prioritise applications that support:
- Families from ethnic minority groups
- Families struggling with the cost of living
- Refugees and asylum seekers families
- Families with children with SEND up to the age of 25 years
- Families that are digitally excluded
