Willow Nook is a welcoming and nurturing place which aims to help people improve their mental and physical health through working outdoors and with animals.
About the Organisation
Willows Nook is a not for profit organisation that offers outdoor Equine Assisted Learning and Wellness sessions to people of all ages. We are a small centre on the moors above Todmorden and we look after ponies, goats and dogs surrounded by nature in the beautiful Calder Valley.
We are an EAQ (Equine Assisted Qualifications) Approved Centre and we are also licensed though Calderdale council.
This is an opportunity to be outside and work with animals. Tasks include looking after the site including land management - poo picking, pulling weeds, mucking out animals, maintenance, painting, gardening. Social media guru, accounting, Supporting sessions, making cups of tea, helping with planning.
