As part of our ongoing commitment to support the communities we serve, each time a Restart Scheme participant secures and sustains employment, Maximus allocates a proportion of the funding received by DWP to the Local Impact Fund.
Through this fund, our aspiration is to make a positive impact across the communities where we deliver the Restart Scheme, reduce inequalities, and enable access to employment for all. It is a particular ambition to reach those in the most deprived communities.
The fund is available across all West and South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We have identified certain locations which have some of the most deprived communities and as such, we are particularly keen to invite applications for projects based in these areas: Calderdale / Bradford / Wakefield / Barnsley / Doncaster / Rotherham / Ashfield / Nottingham / Bolsover / Mansfield / Derby City.
There are two bands of grant funding available and dependant on organisational structure and the project length – applicants can apply for either:
• Up to £10,000
• Up to £5,000
In addition to the guidance document attached, there is a information session being held on the following dates and times:
