Mission Zero Conference

Mission Zero is focused on ending new HIV, TB, and viral hepatitis transmissions, preventing avoidable deaths, and eliminating discrimination and stigma associated with these conditions in Calderdale by 2030.

The Mission Zero Conference will take place at Hebden Bridge Town Hall on Friday, 29 November 2024, from 9:30 am to 4 pm

The conference will include inspiring talks and interactive workshops, as well as providing a valuable networking opportunity. It will address the various opportunities and challenges we face in achieving our mission, and specifically focusing on how we can collaboratively raise awareness and reduce stigma in our community.

Confirmed speakers include Chief Executive Officer at The Hepatitis C Trust and President of The World Hepatitis Alliance, Rachel Halford, and LGBTQ+ and human rights campaigner, Peter Tatchell. Details of other speakers will be confirmed soon.

The event is open to all and will be of particular interest to those looking to increase their understanding of HIV, TB, and viral hepatitis in a professional capacity (health and social care, education, housing, etc.).
