They are seeking applications from organisations to deliver a Summer Activity Scheme for 20 children aged 8-13 in the HD6 3 area.
The programme will run at Space @ Field Lane Community Hub, providing an engaging and enriching experience for local children.
Duration: 4 weeks during the school holidays, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 16:30pm
Dates: w/c 28th July, w/c 4th August, w/c 11th August and w/c 18th August
The chosen organisation will be responsible for providing breakfast and lunch for he children. Additionally, their cafe will be open on Wednesdays and Fridays, where children will receive a hot lunch, funded by the organisation.
A minimum of two qualified and experienced paid staff, maintaining a 1:10 ratio. All staff MUST have an enhanced DBS check. Volunteers should be recruited by the organisation and must also have enhanced checks in place before the scheme starts.
If your organisation can deliver this exciting opportunity, please complete the application form by 5pm, Friday 16th May. Selection will take place in April, allowing time to recruit children, engage volunteers, and plan a fun filled programme.
Proposals will be judged on the creativity of the programme and value for money.
