About the Organisation

As a Language Tutor Volunteer, you will play a important role in developing the knowledge, skills and understanding of service-users through dedicated 1:1 or group sessions to teach languages. We are looking for individuals that are proficient in another language/s and are comfortable in teaching tailor language sessions for service users at a beginner’s level. This role provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by breaking down language barriers, fostering cultural understanding, and empowering individuals through the gift of language.
This role is based at Airedale Centre for Mental Health and you will have regular contact with service users within an inpatient environment.

Additional Requirements
We seek volunteers available for a minimum of 1-2 hours weekly on week days.
