Recruitment for the Small Charities Advisory Panel

The Small Charities Advisory Panel launched in March 2023. It has played an integral role in championing the voices and the experiences of a small charities. it recognises the vital role that small charities play in civil society and ensures that they can continue to access tailored help, support and advocacy.

Following a recent review, it was decided that panel membership will be exclusive for small charity representatives. They define a small charity as a voluntary or community organisation with an annual income of less that £1m.

There are currently five members of the panel. They are looking to recruit at least three new members.

Eligibility: Applicants must be a trustee or staff member of a small charity based in England or Wales.

Remuneration: Small charities will be remunerated for the time the member spends fulfilling panel duties. This will be paid at an agreed rate of £400 per day and £200 per half day.

Closing date: 27th October 2024

Longlisting: Week commencing 28th October

Shortlisting: Week commencing 4th November

Interviews: Week commencing 11th November
