The team work with adults (18 and over) to help them access social activities and health and wellbeing related services. As people with active social lives, tend to be happier and healthier.
What the project aims to do?
Reduce loneliness and social isolation,
Reduce health inequalities,
Improve health and well-being,
Reduce demand on GP practices and hospitals,
Improve how we all work together,
If you have a little time each week to brighten someone’s day this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We only ask you to make one phone call a week that is between 30-60 minutes long. We ask you to commit to calling for 6 months.

We look after the wellbeing of our volunteers and offer regular support from the volunteer and coordinator and meet ups with other befrienders.
