The Anti-Poverty Partnership

The Anti Poverty Partnership are hosting an event which will focus on helping everyone to stay warm and live sustainably.

This event is for frontline workers, volunteers, managers and community leaders from a variety of sectors, including Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector, health professionals, social workers, community workers and staff from organisations with an interest in sustainability and tackling poverty

Time: 9.00am to 12.15pm

Location: The Shay Stadium

Event Aims include

  • Promoting the Cost-of-Living campaign and affordable warmth schemes locally.
  • Highlighting the groups of people who are most in need of support and empowering frontline workers to identify and support these groups of people
  • Exploring fuel poverty and methods people are using to save money, reduce their carbon footprint and keep warm.
  • Building a strong knowledge base and skill set amongst staff and volunteers across the partnership to effectively provide information, guidance and signposting to residents on the COL crisis, affordable warmth and sustainable living.
  • Providing a key opportunity for networking and collaboration
