About the Organisation
Welcome to the official website for the Elland Silver Brass Band. We are one of the largest Brass Band organisations in the country, made up of 6 ensembles and over 120 playing members ranging from absolute beginners to semi-professionals.
Elland Silver Band is nationally graded in the 1st Section. We also have one of the finest Youth bands in the country and an excellent Training, Starter and Beginners Band where we provide instruments and tuition to children as young as 7 years old.
In October 2015 we launched our Community Band, specifically to provide tuition to encourage players over the aged of 18 to learn to play a brass instrument.

As a registered charity, we’re seeking dedicated individuals to guide us in fulfilling our mission with integrity and passion.Responsibilities include shaping strategic direction, safeguarding the organisation’s values, ensuring financial stability, governance and actively contributing to board decisions. Trustees play a key role in promoting openness, honesty, and leadership.
