West Yorkshire Launches Trauma-Informed Training Pilot

As part of their goal to become a trauma-informed and responsive system by 2030, the West Yorkshire Adversity, Trauma and Resilience Programme is launching a train the trainer pilot.

This initiative aims to equip professionals with the skills to deliver a 3.5 hour introductory training on adversity, trauma and resilience within their own organisations.

They are looking for colleagues from the education, health and social care, criminal justice and policing, and VCSE sectors who have experience in teaching, training or facilitation, to take part. You don’t need any formal qualifications.

Successful applicants will take part in two face-to-face training days, gaining knowledge aligned with the Transforming Psychological Trauma Knowledge and Skills Framework. See the training and development brochure for more information.

If you’re interested, please submit a 150-word expression of interest outlining your role, sector and relevant experience by Friday 28 February 2025 to Anna Comerford, Senior Project Manager, ATR Workforce Development via email to anna.comerford@nhs.net
