Women Centre is Hiring a Counselling Practitioner!

Bradford Survive and Thrive provide services to ensure families who have experienced domestic abuse & sexual violence receive the right support at the right time, to make them safe, and help promote recovery and healing.

Counselling Practitioner Bradford Survive & Thrive

Hours: 12 hours/week

Pay: £29,189 to £31,057 pro rata.

Duration: Post funded until 31st March 2025

Location: Bradford

Closing Date: Monday 19th August 2024, 9am

Bradford Survive and Thrive is a partnership of Staying Put, Family Action and WomenCentre. We are looking to recruit qualified, experienced counsellors to join the Adult Counselling Service.

To apply you will need to have:

  • A minimum of two years post qualification experience of offering individual counselling to people who have been exposed to domestic abuse and/or sexual violence and/or over two years of domestic abuse and or sexual violence support experience to BACP standard.
  • A sound knowledge of relevant support services across the Bradford District

Post holders are employed by WomenCentre and based in the Bradford District office as part of the Survive and Thrive Consortium.

Post holders will need to be within driving distance of Bradford City centre; the service offers phone, online and face to face counselling sessions.
